G8 Catch Can Install
Catch can will come in the package fully assembled.
The following parts are included in kit:

Catch can
4 1/2 ft of hose
Nut and star washer
1 (one) hose clamp

Tools needed for installation:

Flat head screw driver
Scissors or sheers
Socket Wrench
10 mm deep socket
In non available, a standard 10 mm wrench will do, but will make the process longer.



Start
Slowly pull up on the front of the cover and then the back until it pops off. Put it where it's out of the way and safe.


Step 2
Pull off the hard plastic line and rubber connection off of the nipple at rear of the drivers side valve cover.


Step 3
Move hoses out of the way to make the rest of the install easier.


Step 4
Use the flat head screw driver to pry up the clip holding the harness.


Step 5
Pull harness off and move it out of the way.


Step 6
Pull white clip off to be able to get to the clip.


step 7
Proceed to depress clip and pull plug out of the throttle body. Move all wire harness' out of the way.

Step 8
Pull plug out of intake manifold in order to get access to the PCV line .            


Step 9
Pull all wires out of the way so that you can get better access to PCV inlet.


Step 10
Press down on white plastic on the tip of the tube until you can pull it off.


Step 11
Use the hose and clamp provided, Put clamp over hose and put hose over the nipple until as far as it goes with out forcing it on and tighten the hose clamp until you can't pull off the hose. Only one hose clamp is required for the kit because the hoses will fit securely on everything else with out a clamp.


Step 12
Route hose over the intake manifold towards the drives side and make it as clean as you can, then plug harness back into the intake manifold.


Step 13
Start by plugging in harness into the trottle body then put the white clip back on to secure it in place.


Step 14
Re clip harness from step 4-5.


Step 15
Put the star washer over the bolt (If you have the stock intake box, pull box up and put washer under that). Place the catch can bracket hole over bolt until it's at the bottom. Put locking nut and tighten down to 18 ft lbs ( with stock intake box, put intake box over the catch can bracket, then proceed to put the nut in stock location). Do not put cover back on until after step 16.


Step 16
Route hose from passengers side and cut it to your liking so that it's long enough to reach the catch can fitting facing front of car.
With the hose that is left.
Locate the nipple sticking out of the drivers side valve cover which you took the line off in the second step. Push the hose over the nipple and proceed to routing the hose to your liking and cut it when it's long enough to reach the second fitting on the catch can.


Step 17
Double check to see that every harness is plugged in and not loose. Check all hoses and put them in their correct positions and make sure they are all also secure. Place cover back on and enjoy.


Step 18
Your Billet catch can install is now complete.  Empty catch can as required. Turn in direction of red arrow to loosen. Ever Motor has different characteristics so check it regularly.
